GILLY IN SHARUKH’S MOST WANTED LIST

Australian Wicket Keeping all rounder and the lone walker in his team, Adam Gilchrist features in King Khan’s most wanted list. According to newspaper reports Sharukh has asked Sourav Ganguly to try to get Gilchrist into the Kolkatta team.

Adam Gilchrist is all set for retirement after the ongoing CB series. He has already expressed his interest to play for the IPL. He is one of the most revered Australian players in India and his Manager Steven Atkinson recently came toIndia to hold talks with Ganguly who is expected to lead the Kolkata team.

But Gilchrist has not been given permission by the CA to play in the IPL. According to the terms of the ICL any player must have had a 2 year cooling off period after retirement before joining in IPL. But the IPL organizers have hinted that the 2 year cooling period could be exempted for Gilchrist.

Gilchrist could expect a payment of $300,000. But as we all know money is not a matter of concern for the King.
