You could be pardoned if u fail to remember that wiry kid who set the stage on fire during a tour to Pakistan as many as four years ago. A pace bowler at his peak – he would never in his wildest dreams have imagined that he would not play for the next four years.
A superb series in Pakistan followed by a nerve wrecking injury and a four years lay-off has been the sad-tale of L.balaji and the IPL came as a perfect stage to get the world’s attention for this yet another smiling assassin in the cricketing fraternity.
Call it a rebirth or what ever but balaji is back and is kicking. The hat trick against kings xi was proof enough that the lanky pacer has not last his charm. So the smile is back and hope it remains for long. Batsman beware!!! You are about to be undone by a smile
